Personal Management

Update - If you have any requirements for the Personal Management badge that are ready to sign off, or that you need help with, please let me know.  I am planning on being at the Crystal Lake Public Library from 4PM to 5PM on Sunday 11/18.

NOTES:  Please update your MB Workbooks, and always come with your workbook and pen or pencil.

GETTING STARTED - Merit Badge Prep
------------------------------------
With parent permission each scout should to do the following:
1.  Download the Personal Management Merit Badge worksheet from  http://meritbadge.org/wiki/index.php/Merit_Badges

Note:  If you do not have a Merit Badge Binder, I strongly recommend that you to get one.  This is a great place to keep all your "In Progress" workbooks and completed MB Cards.

2.  Review all the requirements

3.  Set a realistic goal date to be completed with the merit badge.  I ____________(your name) will do my best to complete this Merit Badge by ________________  (end-date).   Discuss this goal with your Parents and Mr. Des Biens the next time we meet.

4.  Email Mr. Des Biens (mr.desbiens@gmail.com) with the following:

• Your goal from #3,  
• Email address you want to use for information
• Phone number
• The name of a parent or guardian
• Do you have a Blue Card?  Yes or No
  • If Yes, please email me any requirements that have been signed off by a MBC, and the name of the Merit Badge Counselor 

5.  Begin requirements #1a, #1b and #2a

6.  Check the blog every week for update information, or contact Mr. Des Biens by email.


09/19/12 - Scoutmaster Approval

• SM has approved the list of scouts that requested to start this MB
• Mr. Des Biens will get signed MB Applications (Blue Cards) for those scout
